Sr. Marketing Operations Manager/ Director

ActivePlatform is currently seeking a seasoned Marketing Operations Manager for a growing Cloud Brokerage Platform. This position can be located at our headquarters in Minsk, Belarus, Moscow, Russia, or in Seattle, WA, and we continue to expand globally. Please note that this is a contract opportunity for international locations outside of Belarus or Russia.
You'll quide the direction of the growth, strategy and execution of brand awareness and platform evangelism operations for ActivePlatform's fast growing marketing team. We're in 50 countries, and each presents a different set of challenges for a marketing organization. With the speed and scale of execution at ActivePlatform - no two days will be the same and you'll constantly be learning and developing new skills. You'll manage ambiguity and constant change.

Reporting to CMO, this role will lead and execute a centralized function that controls all operations of the marketing team across marketing segments and channels, including responsibility for
1) program management and execution of large projects,
2) cross-campaign marketing calendar management,
3) budget management, and
4) ensuring that we are maximizing return on various marketing investments in alignment with the overarching business strategy.

As the Senior Marketing Operations Manager/Director, you will lead and execute the creative design and strategy in partnership with messaging. You will be responsible for leading the creative transformation to support digital tools for communications and training to be used by ActivePlatform customers. You will also lead, develop and build the creative strategy and production across the organization. In addition, this role will lead and support production, design, editing and deployment of all digital and offline content in the company, including videos.

We're looking for a technical, hands-on marketing operations manager who will help to create and scale our global marketing efforts. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our teams and vendors use the best in class technology, marketing tools and systems to maximize the Return on Investment (ROI) on marketing spend.

What you'll do
Marketing tools and systems for ActivePlatform
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations and automation systems
  • Passion for marketing and for technologies
  • Work with Marketo, Salesforce and other leading marketing technology solutions, ability to train Pipedrive CRM and web-to-lead systems
  • Build and execute omnichannel campaigns, partnering with our digital marketing team, across email, social and web
  • Interface with Sales team, troubleshoot system integration, and drive new systems integration projects as needed
  • Manages content and executes edits and publishing for ActivePlatform web site on, coordinates web agency, product marketing, corporate marketing messaging, translators and devops for web-site updates
Regional and segment programs
  • Align regional and segment plans to the priorities and revenue goals for ActivePlatform
  • Develop creative marketing suite of programs based on account, territory, campaign based needs
  • Design program architecture for major cross-team projects to account for all marketing tactics across all channels, ensuring that all tactics are tied to a desired business outcome
  • Coordinate various marketing activities into a single marketing calendar and partner cross-functionally with Digital Marketing, Web, Design, Sales, Product, Professional Services, Tech Support and others to execute against agreed upon initiatives
  • Communicate effectively to all functional areas to align their work, plan their marketing plans, and define marketing activities that support effective execution against ActivePlatform initiatives for the quarter, year, etc.
Events management for ActivePlatform
  • Identify and execute regional trade shows that support marketing goals against vertical and horizontal audiences
  • Develop strong relationship with ISV Partner Management to identify partner resources to fill knowledge gaps for regional campaign needs
  • Contract and negotiate with event venues on schedule, room, AV, F&B etc.
  • Create marketing message in promotional materials
  • Work with Digital marketing to develop HTML invitations and event landing pages
  • Work with Digital marketing to create campaigns in ConstantContact and distribute email across targeted database
  • Develop new ways to positively impact the sales pipeline through creative deliverables
  • In partnership with Digital marketing, Sales, Product Management measure revenue impact from programs and campaigns. Leverage data, measuring, and monitoring to identify successes and failures of all programs deployed
  • Builds transparency with other functions, including informing sales ops, sales leadership, and product management of the marketing milestones
  • Manages marketing team budget
What you'll need
The most successful candidates will have a collaborative style, strong project management experience, great communication skills, ability to produce hands on almost anything, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous evolution to make marketing operations better. You have a Degree in Business or related field from a four-year college or university required, MBA preferred.
  • Operations Professional
  • 8+ years professional experience, including:
  • 5+ years operations experience, preferably at a $50M+ SaaS, eCommerce or other subscription based company
  • 3+ years Marketing Operations experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years' experience designing and building CRM and marketing automation systems with a high proficiency in Salesforce and Marketo
  • Previous people and vendor management experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated success with end-to-end process design, rollout, and project management
  • Working knowledge of sales methodologies and solution selling
  • Familiarity with ecommerce a HUGE plus
  • Have a solid understanding of Web Systems, HTML, and JavaScript and how they are used for emails and landing pages
  • Financial, budgeting, planning, compensation background experience
  • Proven record using operations expertise to drive productivity, hyper growth and profitability in a dynamic organization
  • Data-driven, motivated, and able to think outside of the box
  • Strong understanding and expertise with multi-touch marketing campaigns including of inbound marketing ecosystem
  • Ability to analyze and present complex information in an easily understood manner
